Modern Jewish Baker – Thanksgiving Weekend Book #2

My next book of the holiday weekend is down, and I will admit that it feels like a bit of a cheat to me, but I picked a cook book: Modern Jewish Baker. Truth is, while I do like to bake I don’t have a lot of experience with traditional Jewish sweets.

I do enjoy looking at them, and in eating them, but I have not really made any of them myself. And all of these look really yummy.

And what I found, was so much more than that. It has so much to show off the variation of the items. Despite it being 2020, I haven’t made bread yet and this might have just tempted me to do it. While the book may not have much in the way of stories or personality to them (they’re a bit lifeless) but the recipes are worth picking up my measuring cup and actually doing something with my day.
