Animal Crossing Turkey Day Event Items List

Any fan of Animal Crossing knows that the update is coming. First up is Turkey Day and it has a lot of really nice items on tap that you can get. The catch, you need to give a turkey chef* ingredients for the stuff.

You can’t time travel ahead to see what you need, thanks to the recent patching that Nintendo did. While I don’t personally agree with that decision**, I can’t change it.

Official sources have been (at the time of this publication) quiet on what exactly we will need, despite some of the critical ingredients being fairly rare. But some good folks who have more free time and a lot less patience for that corporate paternalism, have taken it upon themselves to break the code and get an idea of what is needed. I won’t out them, but you could find them with a quick search.

And this is the list of what appears to be needed to be ready for Turkey Day:

  • Manila Clams
  • Scallops
  • Pumpkins (all colors)
  • Mussels
  • Mushrooms (all types except the rare)
  • Oysters
  • Dungeness Crab
  • Sea Bass
  • Flounder
  • Dab
  • Red Snapper
  • Barred Knifejack

Some of them are pretty rare. They would be hard to get same day unless you have all day (on a holiday) to devote to it. So get working on what you need to grow, fish and dive to have the best Turkey day ever.

*A chef who is a turkey, not one cooking a turkey.

**People have jobs, and school and family. Events fall on holidays this year (Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve) that means people have things that they need to attend to. Most of us won’t have all day to attend to a game. Time travel make celebration in a way that is compatible with your life more viable. Its unfair to put players on uneven footing because of their responsibilities.
